Epsy named as the 2020 Google Material Design Award winner

Houston, Texas, December 14, 2020 - Google Design honored Epsy Health, a leading digital health platform for epilepsy and seizures, as winner of the 2020 Material Design Awards. The Google Material Design Awards recognize product teams that bring Material to life – with useful, usable, and beautiful, best-in-class apps that leverage design as a starting point for exemplary interfaces.

The Epsy App for Android was named the winner in the Material Motion category: Google Design has honored Epsy Health for using Material design in a unique and inspiring way. As described in Google Design’s announcement of the award: “Epsy uses motion meaningfully, guiding users through critical tasks to better their quality of life […] Epsy’s thoughtful application of motion design facilitates a richer environment for keeping record of an individual’s experience with epilepsy, aiming to help create better outcomes outside the digital environment.”

The Epsy App is free, and is currently available in the USA only to download for Android on Google's Play Store and for iOS on Apple's App Store. The Epsy App currently requires Android 7.0 Nougat (or later), or iOS 11.4 (or later) and works with Apple Watch, Apple Health and Google Fit.
