The Epsy app continues to grow and is now available for all Android devices in the Google Play Store, ensuring all people living with epilepsy in the USA can effectively monitor and manage their personal journey with the condition.
This follows the launch of our iOS device earlier in 2020, with many features set to be replicated in future versions of the Android app. Recent data from Stats Counter shows that Android has 41.3% of the smartphone market share in the USA.
Epsy are dedicated to improving the communication between the 3.4 million epilepsy patients in the USA and their doctors. Each person living with epilepsy has a unique experience and as such, the more information a medical professional has for each patient – the better and more tailored their treatment plans can be. We are on a mission to ensure every day with epilepsy is brighter than the last.
In-app features for Android include:
- Logging triggers, seizures, auras, side effects and more
- Set-up and monitor medications
- Reminders to take medications
- Build your own profile
Marco Peluso, the VP of Epsy, says “with our iOS and Android versions both now live, Epsy are in a position to revolutionize the treatment efficiencies of every person living with epilepsy in the USA. At Epsy, we seek to modernize the outdated logging methods currently available to patients by providing a simple and easy to use app. The app not only improves patient and doctor conversations, but it also aims to increase medication compliance.”
